About

Parno, derived from the Polish word for "muggy," evokes the charged atmosphere before a thunderstorm—a blend of excitement and intensity, an anticipation of something unexpected about to unfold. It embodies the moment of tension and playfulness, holding deeper, sensual meanings that hint at corporeal delights. Each collection is a celebration of womanhood in all its complexity, both joy and pain, infused with a rebellious spirit, blending opposite elements and harmonizing contrasts to find unexpected beauty. Parno's designs are deeply personal, drawing from antiques, spiritualism, symbolism, subcultures, and sports. These influences imbue Parno with depth and meaning, creating pieces that are not just clothing but expressions of identity, embracing the body, celebrating rebellion, and crafting garments that exude intensity and contradiction —like the moment before a storm, electric and full of excitement.

Who made my clothes?
All garments are sewn either at a home studio or by local tailors or factories in Poland. Both deadstock and regular fabrics are used in Parno collections. Some items feature upcycled vintage clothes.

Tailors making Parno clothes are either self-employed or small local business employees.

Detailed care instructions are attached to every order to help you to take proper care of your garment.
